Responsibilities

This role will work from a home office in the Dallas, TX area.

This position is for Performance Films business unit within Advanced Materials group of Eastman Chemical Company. Performance Films is a leading manufacturer and marketer of high performance window films and paint protection films that provide technology driven solutions for automotive and architectural end markets. Performance Films has industry s strongest brand portfolio, well-recognized by channel partners and end consumers, consisting of LLumar, SunTek & V-KOOL.

Description & Key Responsibilities
This role will be focused on making paint protection film patterns as part of Eastman s pattern design team. Meeting customer needs for available quality patterns will enable paint protection film sales to Performance Films customers. Patterns will be designed, validated, and uploaded onto Eastman s pattern database. Regular collaboration will be needed with technical and sales colleagues across the US & globally in order to access vehicles and create paint protection film patterns to global best practice standards.

Pattern Design
Develop high quality paint protection film (PPF) patterns
o Manual template making
o Digitizing and editing patterns using graphics software
o Validation installation of patterns to vehicles
Time management & reporting
o Deliver patterns within deadlines (per vehicle) to meet annual pattern targets
o Weekly and monthly reporting on progress
Manage and maintain patterns (Data management)
o Maintain folders and pictures for pattern fitment validation
o Adjust existing patterns where necessary
Contribute to and deliver global pattern best practice
o Implement latest agreed global best practice within the global pattern operation
o Share insights and collaborate in the development of best practice and standard operating procedures
o Support knowledge transfer across Performance Films (consulting on, or delivering training and guidance), as required
Pattern Acquisition Channels
o Manage own pattern prioritization list
o Support the development of existing and new pattern acquisition channels to enable vehicle access

Qualifications

Experience & Education
Required
o Clearly demonstrable practical skills
o Strong computer skills
o Technical & design, skills or mindset
o Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time
o Experience or interest in the automotive industry (professional or personal)
o Graphic design software skills, such as CorelDRAW (or ability to quickly learn)
o Experience managing own workload
Desirable
o Paint Protection Film (PPF) fitment expertise, or similar products with closely transferable skills.
o Practical engineering or materials experience (hands on mindset as to how materials work in real world applications)
o Automotive education (vocational or degree)

Location / Travel

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
